Okogbe Sues For Enhanced Security Services In His Locality

The member representing Akoko Edo II Constituency at the Edo State House of Assembly, Donald Okogbe, has called on security agencies to enhance security to check the rising spate  of kidnapping and other criminal activities in Akoko  Edo local government area.                                           
The lawmaker made the call during a stakeholders town hall meeting on security matters at Igarra, headquarters of Akoko Edo Local Government area .    
                      
Speaking further,  Hon. Okogbe said that the security meeting was in reaction to a recent protest in Akoko Edo Local Government area over the disturbing kidnappings in the area.                   
The security meeting had in attendance, stakeholders drawn from traditional rulers, religious leaders and security personnels who availed their observations and suggestions.

Some residents who spoke at the meeting said they were the worst hit by the situation, adding that the terrible state of the Auchi_Igarra road has led to increase in kidnappings and other nefarious activities.             

The lawmaker however assured that residents will enjoy the dividends of democracy and improvement in security of lives and property, go forward.           
               
He called for youth employment and speedy rehabilitation of the Auchi-Igarra Road.
